Do I need a referral for therapy?
No, you do not need a referral from your Doctor for Chiropractic, Physiotherapy or Massage Therapy services. Please check with your extended health care benefits provider if you are unsure about what type of coverage you have. Some benefit plans will pay the full amount of therapy or only a percentage of each visit to a capped amount.

Should I come for therapy after surgery?
Yes, you should absolutely come to therapy after surgery! Some surgeons do not suggest treatment after their procedures, however we find that most patients have a much better chance of reaching maximum medical recovery when they do. Some people require more therapy than others after surgery, but your therapists will work with you to provide the best treatment strategy for your individual needs, and get you back to pre-surgical levels of function and beyond!
